In 2020 this agreement was extended for six months to cover two new ferries, APT James and Buccoo Reef which were delivered into the island nation by IMS.
In-country Technical Management was maintained ashore via the IMS Technical Superintendent (Manager) and Engineering Superintendents. These essential shore staff provided the daily interface with NIDCO and regularly provided technical support, safety management, procurement, vessel budgeting and reporting services.
